Supported Living Apartments

At Fieldbay we want the people we support to enjoy the highest possible quality of life. That’s why we have developed services that provide people with their own tenancy while continuing to receive the level of support that is available in our residential services. You may be already be familiar with supported living but our services are a little different to the norm.

Our tenancies are staffed 24 hours a day and have waking night staff. We provide one member of staff for every two people who use the service. Each person will have a basic one to one allocation of four hours a week and this can be added to until their needs are fully met.

All staff are given appropriate training and work to person-centred support plans.  They are able to access our multidisciplinary team so are able to provide appropriate support for people with complex needs. This team includes psychiatry, psychology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy in addition to highly experienced registered nurses who oversee the day to day running of the services.

While the level of support is equivalent to that provided in our residential services we have adjusted our pricing structure to make the next step towards independent living attractive to those who purchase our services.Domcare Apartments

Heathfield Apartments

There are 14 living spaces at Heathfield Apartments. Each has its own meal preparation area with a hob, microwave, refrigerator, sink and storage space.

The building has Wifi and television outlets in each apartment. Aid Call is fitted and constantly monitored by staff. Each apartment has a telephone and staff can be spoken to at any time of day. This allows us to support people who would not ordinarily be considered ready to live in a tenancy. Furthermore, it provides the opportunity for such people to have a higher quality of life and greater freedom then they would enjoy were they to live in other settings.

For those people who prefer to live away from others, there is also a self-contained bungalow and two maisonette style flats at an end of terrace house that adjoins the Heathfield Appartments with similar levels of staff support.

Sharing the Heathfield Apartments site is an activity centre, named the "Hobby Hut", and a wood workshop where people are welcome to pursue hobbies, learn new skills or join a group run by a dedicated team of activity co-ordinators and occupational therapists.
An activity planner has been appointed to ensure that there are events throughout the year and in addition to activities such as arts and crafts, cognitive groups and sensory sessions, outside agencies such as Zoolab and a Nostalgia Show make frequent appearances.
