Fieldbay provide high quality services for people aged 18 years + who have complex needs associated with mental illness, learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, dementia and long term conditions such as Huntington’s disease.

The Role

As a Driver/Carer you will provide support and transport for Service Users with mental health and physical needs. You will also assist with everything from ensuring the minibus meets required standards to accompanying our Service Users on trips out to various points of interest and appointments.
Requirements

Candidates must be reliable and professional and be able to demonstrate patience, kindness, compassion and have a true desire to learn and develop.
A full driving license with no more than 3 endorsement points, held for more than 2 years is essential for this role and you should also be licensed to drive a minibus and a trailer (Category D1). Previous experience as a driver with evidence of driving safely and competently is also essential to the role.
Previous Care experience is desirable but we are equally keen to chat with candidates who have a desire to make a positive difference to the lives of the people we support.
NVQ Level 2/3 is advantageous, however full training will be provided to ensure all successful candidates are qualified to a minimum of level 2
