Fieldbay are currently recruiting for a passionate and “hands-on” Maintenance Supervisor to join the fantastic team at our new development Cwmgelli Lodge located in Blackwood, Caerphilly.
Based at Cwmgelli Lodge, Blackwood.
As our Maintenance Supervisor, you will undertake a variety of maintenance work to ensure that all areas of the home are maintained to a very high standard, and routine maintenance works are completed as per statutory requirements to ensure smooth running of the home. In addition to this, the successful candidate will train and supervise the Maintenance team to achieve and maintain company operational standards and will ensure statutory and company requirements in terms of Health and Safety are upheld at all times. You will work in accordance with Health and Safety protocols and procedures and ensure the home is in good decorative order at all times. .A full driving licence is required for this role as you may be required to travel to our other homes when necessary, in line with the needs of the business.

Our current homes include Ty Newydd Nursing Home, Maesteg, Pen y Bont Court Nursing Home, Bridgend, Heathfield Lodge Care Home, Swansea, Tan Yr Allt House Nursing Home, Tan Yr Allt Lodge Nursing Home, & Mill Row, Pontardawe and Cwm Gwendraeth and Ty Cwm Gwendraeth, Camarthenshire. We also provide Domiciliary Care to those people living in the community and in our tailor-made care facilities, Heathfield Apartments, Swansea, North Lodge & Bryn Derwen, Bridgend.
With registration for Service Users from 18+, the company is expanding year on year to offer services to people throughout South Wales, from Carmarthen to Cardiff and beyond – we’re at an exciting stage of our journey.
Fieldbay aim to provide the people who live in our homes and have a primary diagnosis of acquired brain injury and/or dementia/mental infirmity, learning disability and functional mental illness, a secure, relaxed and homely environment in which their care, well-being and comfort is of primary importance.
