Fieldbay provides high-quality services for people who have complex needs associated with mental illness, learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, dementia and long-term conditions such as Huntington’s disease.
We specialise in working with people that are regarded as too challenging for ordinary nursing and social care settings.
Our services include:
- Nursing Care
- Residential Care
- Domiciliary Care and home support
As a provider of a range of services, we are often able to provide continuity of care as peoples’ needs change over time.
We have an in-house multidisciplinary team that includes:
- Clinical Psychiatry
- Clinical Psychology
- Occupational Therapy
- Physiotherapy
- Speech and Language Therapy
We also employ general, psychiatric and learning disability nurses, many of whom have specialist post-registration training. To ensure continuity of care we maintain a high staff to service user ratio across all our services and we never use agency staff.
Our ethos
Our ethos is to nurture and develop our staff, creating a culture of ongoing learning and development and sharing best practice.
We are proud to hold the Silver Investors in People award and are 1 of 5 care providers in South Wales who have achieved this award, which demonstrates our ongoing commitment to training and development.
We encourage life-long learning and all care staff are required to attain at least NVQ Care Level 2. Nurses are also encouraged to attain further qualifications and attend courses as part of their CPD progression and development.
We encourage development of all our ancillary support staff, either through QCF awards in their areas of work or external courses, thus creating a diverse knowledge base and talent within our organisation.
