Supported Living

Supported Living

Domcare@Fieldbay (East) provides supported living for adults who have Learning Disabilities.

Often, the people we support have additional physical, behavioural, and mental health needs that preclude them from receiving support from mainstream agencies.  For more details on the type of support we are able to provide please read our Statement of Purpose.

In our supported living facilities, we strive to maintain and, where possible, improve independence levels by providing rehabilitation (if appropriate), stimulating activities, and social integration so that people can reach their full potential, function optimally, and enjoy a high level of quality of life.

We support wellbeing by giving people choice in the activities they pursue, encouraging them to be creative, to follow their interests, explore new challenges and experience a sense of achievement. We aim to do this by having strong links with community resources and aiming to enhance and develop support networks outside of our service. As we believe everyone regardless of disability, illness or injury should have the opportunity to fully participate in life and society.
